March 30th 2011 This week, Koh Tao is not the sunny paradise everyone thought it to be. After a few days of downpour, some parts of the island are quite overwhelmed with mud and slop. Some tourists were stranded as boat services were suspended due to the sea being a bit on the high side, and so the Thai Navy decided to do their thing and airlifted whoever needed a lift..

One day after the worst rain anyone on Koh Tao can remember, Oceans Below’s Elisabeth, went for a walk with her GoPro, Hero camera to capture some of the aftermath.
